What is Fixed Wireless?
Fixed wireless is internet connectivity accessed through broadcast towers (instead of cable or fibre-optic infrastructure) strategically placed throughout the region for optimal coverage. Fixed Wireless internet is an efficient and scalable alternative to traditional wired internet access.
This connection is typically used in circumstances where there is a great distance between homes or businesses. Data travels from a transmission tower located as far as 14 kilometres from the customer’s location. The data is received and sent via a NEXUS outdoor antenna that has been fitted to the premises by an approved NEXUS installer.
